Jonasa Matakibau isn’t your typical artisan. The Naduri lad turns trash into cash by making earrings out of bottle tops and recyclable items. Crafting did not tickle his fancy until he attended a workshop and decided to give art a try.
“It was just something I thought I’d try,” he said. “I saw how bottle tops could be turned into something beautiful with just a few cuts and bends.” Each piece of earrings that Jonasa crafts is distinctively unique, reflecting Jonasa’s creative spirit and eye for detail.
“I have never had any regrets attending this workshop.” Crafting earring isn’t just a newfound hobby for Jonasa; it’s a lifeline.
