A disgraced former reality TV personality is being treated in a residential rehabilitation facility as she awaits sentencing for driving under the influence of drugs and fraud offences. Jordan Ray Finlayson was due to be sentenced in Sydney Downing Centre Local Court on Friday after she pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle with drugs in her system and four counts of using a false document to influence exercise of public duty. But her lawyer Matthew Wade told the court the 32-year-old was unable to attend court because she was residing in a rehabilitation facility.
He asked the court to adjourn the sentencing until next month, which was granted by Deputy Chief Magistrate Theo Tsavdaridis. In the court documents, police assert she has a “lengthy” criminal record resulting from “her involvement with drug use”. Last year, the former NRL cheerleader was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and released on bail under strict conditions which required her to report to police three times a week. Yet police discovered she had falsified four medical certificates in order to avoid her reporting obligations.
The documents were accepted as legitimate until police were granted access to her phone and discovered different font sizes .
