HEARTBREAKING photos have shown the moment an aspiring rapper was celebrating the grand opening of a beauty shop with fans before she was shot and killed. Local rapper Tan DaGod was gunned down outside Glamor Beauty Supply in Oakland, California , on Saturday, where she was doing a meet-and-greet with fans. Dozens of fans and family members lined up outside the establishment to meet the rapper, who promoted the event days before on her Instagram account.

"4013 TELEGRAPH OAKLAND CA !’ JULY 13th ! The Cott & I Will be there from 12-1 please be on time if you wanna meet & Greet & see the Cott live," she shared to her 20,000 followers. Tan DaGod uploaded a video on Instagram of herself and family members at the beauty shop. "We here.

I got granny in the cut. Don't play with it," the rapper said, beaming. "Come f**king shop.

They got everything you need," she said, showcasing the shop's inventory. The rapper shared a second video from outside the business as she danced and celebrated with supporters, including children. However, hours after the event was over, gunfire erupted at the strip mall.

Family members confirmed to KRON-TV that Tan DaGod was shot and killed. As the shooting unfolded, several fans sought shelter inside a nearby donut shop. "I heard some shooting, I thought it was part of their music," an employee at the donut store described to the outlet.

"I just saw like two or three people running into my store, and they were like, 'They're shooting, they're shooting.'".
