The Only Way Is Essex star Mario Falcone shared the shock aftermath of his brutal eyelid surgery. The 36-year-old took to his Instagram page to share a video with before-and-after pictures from his surgery. He posted two weeks' worth of close-up snaps of his recovery to showcase the difference it made.
The star underwent blepharoplasty - which is a cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids. Blepharoplasty surgery changes the look of hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags, as stated by the NHS . He wrote in the caption: "2 weeks post upper and lower blepharoplasty @signatureclinicuk .
My hooded eyelids have been something I have grown very conscious of over the past couple of years, I blame the kids [laughing emojis] very happy with the results so far! Big thank you to @dr.carlodebbas ." In the first week of recovery, he had gauze on his eyelids and under his eyes.
On day eight, the gauze was removed and his stitches could be seen. By day 13, there was little bruising and scarring left around his eyes. Fans rushed to the comment section to compliment the results.
One user said: "Oh, this looks tidy! You always look fantastic tho let’s have it right," while another posted: "Looks amazing." One fan added: "End result looks fantastic!" It's not the first time the star went under the knife as, in 2016, the star underwent rhinoplasty as a result of comments from his castmates.
