Kayak released its annual summer travel report , and, for it, the travel company mined its search data to find out which U.S. destinations are trending among travelers this summer.
A surprise, cooler-weather destination emerged as this summer’s most-searched destination: Seattle. “Perhaps some travelers are unfazed by a bit of wet weather when it comes with a side of gorgeous scenery,” the report says. The list also includes popular summer vacation mainstays, places like Orlando, a theme park capital, and the pool-spa-culinary playground that’s Las Vegas.
