Meteorologists reckon there could be thundery conditions in the Potteries this weekend - in what is shaping up to be grim couple of days. Forecasters with the BBC say thunder will hit Stoke-on-Trent on Sunday afternoon while the weekend won't see temperatures getting past 15C. It comes as families in North Staffordshire are waiting for the summer to make a return.
As it stands temperatures will only start gradually creeping back up next week to bring about conditions many will expect of July. But the BBC and Met Office do disagree on what we can expect in the coming days. And while it's set to be grim around North Staffordshire a yellow warning for rain has been issued in northern Scotland.

Come Sunday and the Beeb is forecasting light rain from 9am until 7pm at night with thundery conditions between around 2pm and 3pm. The forecaster says there will be rain most days next week with temperatures reaching a high of around 17C.
