A MUM has caused fury after taking her seven-year-old daughter to the nail shop to get acrylics. The woman, only known as Emily, faced backlash and outrage after posting a clip on TikTok of her daughter's nail makeover. The now-viral video saw Emily and her child, Bailey, sit down at the nail salon before the mum asked the technician if the kid's nails were ''big enough'' for acrylics.

The mum, from the US , explained to the viewers that getting a full set of acrylics was Bailey's treat for completing the school year and that the seven-year-old always begged to tag along her mum whenever she visited the nail shop. ''Every time I leave to get my nails done, she's like 'I want to get my nails done'.'' Before finally taking the little girl for a nail appointment, the mum confessed she used to buy her a press-on manicure .

After the mother-daughter duo had arrived at the beauty salon, Bailey opted for a shorter set of nails, with the mum adding that her daughter was never really a fan of her long acrylics. ''They're little babies,'' the mum chuckled, zooming into the daughter's mini acrylics, which had a round top. Once the fake nails had been attached to the real nails, Bailey picked the colour of her choice - a gorgeous deep purple shade.

''I love them,'' the little beauty lover could be heard saying, confessing to her mum that there was also a burning sensation, which Emily immediately brushed off. ''Yeah, we probably just created a monster,'' the makeup-loving parent joked at.
