As the sun teases us with some warm summer days, now is the time to go and get your picnic baskets out and visit some of the serene parks that Essex has to offer. With many spectacular green spaces, we certainly have plenty of choice in our county. One such place is Hyde Hall just southeast of Chelmsford, and it is definitely worth visiting.

Found in the rural countryside, Hyde Hall has 365 acres of land to explore, enough space to find something new all year round. Visitors have many areas they can enjoy, discovering the huge variety of drought-resistant plants in the Dry Garden, stopping to smell the roses in the Hilltop Garden, or uncovering exotic veggies from all over the world in the Growth Vegetable Garden.
