TV fans across the nation have been left heartbroken after the news of and split surfaced this weekend. The Sun on Sunday previously revealed that the pair, who used to host ITV's every Friday, are planning to divorce as their careers have taken them in "different directions." A representative for the couple, who tied the knot in 2010, told The Sun: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.

" While fans are finding it hard to come to terms with the split, some observant followers seem to have pointed out a few telling signs. Some of which have been fairly noticeable such as not appearing on their social media accounts. Other sign include Eamonn's health causing a strain on the marriage.



With confirmation that things are over, Daily Star has taken a look at some of the obviou signs. Both Ruth and Eamonn are active on Instagram, but they seldom post about each other. Ruth's recent posts have been focused on her return to the daytime show and her QVC clothing lines.

Although she frequently shares photos and videos of her mother, Eamonn is usually absent. Two years ago in July, Eamonn made an appearance in a video on her page to promote her Feeling Fabulous event. Meanwhile, Eamonn's Instagram feed tells a similar story.

It's filled with family photos and glimpses into life in a TV newsroom. But Ruth - whom he lovingly calls Ruthie - is rarely featured. A recent photo of Eamonn with Linda Lusardi also raised e.
