Many people across the country choose to come to Essex thanks to our stunning 350 miles of coastline. The county is among the driest places in the country, so pair the lesser amount of rainfall with beautiful beaches, it's a holidaymaker's paradise. New research has revealed the UK holiday destinations which see the least rainfall – with two Essex areas both named in the top five list. It comes ahead of the spring half term when many families will be planning a short break to the coast or countryside.
