The hit Amazon Prime superhero show follows a rag-tag bunch of vigilantes known as The Boys as they fight to uncover the corruption of super-powered individuals recognised as heroes by the general public. They are managed by a powerful corporation known as Vought International which markets and monetises the Supes, most notably The Five and the maniacal head of the group Homelander .
It has proved a solid hit among fans, but all good things must come to an end (sob), with Eric Kripke taking to X ahead of season 4’s premiere on Thursday (June 13) confirming when the show will wrap up. Posting a picture that appears to be a page from the season 4 script with lines blacked out, the bottom of the sheet reads: ‘See you for our final season, motherf****r!’ Kripke wrote: ‘The Boys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season! #TheBoys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season!
