As they talked, Poppy told Katie about being Luna's father and embracing her. Poppy let Katie know that even though and Bill aren't married anymore, she's important to him still. So for that reason, Poppy grabbed Luna's hand as she asked Katie if she could give Poppy and Luna her blessing to date Bill.
Katie expressed the fact that she needs to have a talk with Bill about this situation especially as this situation effects their son Will's life. Fans took to social media to share their thoughts about Poppy's request for Katie's blessing and they didn't think positively of the action. One fan on X formerly known as Twitter wrote: "Why would anyone in their right mind ask an ex-wife for her blessing to date her ex-husband with his daughter? Really?" A second fan said: " Luna then shared her excitement to Katie about having Will as a brother before she left to go see RJ.
Katie is much more kind towards Luna in the conversation. Katie and Poppy are left alone to talk. Katie said I'll let Bill know you stopped by and Katie was upset, asking Poppy if she was asking her to leave.
Polly responded she would never ask her to leave since she's apart of the family. Poppy reiterated again that they are family and said it'll be an adjustment for Katie since she's living in the home that once used to be hers. Pop.
