There are countless opportunities to go on safari and see some of the greatest wonders of nature. South Africa's Kruger Park is perhaps the most famous and well known of the continent's nature reserves.
But there is yet another reserve perhaps not so well known, but just as beautiful and full of exotic wildlife, which also has much less visitors. The Okavango Delta is a vast and varied ecosystem created as the Okavango River flows into the Kalahari desert in Botswana. Rich in wildlife, this World Heritage Site is a sanctuary to some of the world's most endangered animals and birds.
Each year the Okavango River discharges approximately 11 cubic kilometres of water into the Okavango Delta. function loadOvpScript(){let el=document.createElement('script');el.
