Rossbeigh Beach in Co Kerry is the ideal place to soak up the sun this summer . It is located in the Ring of Kerry , on the Dingle Bay side of the Iveragh Peninsula, Co Kerry.

Rossbeigh is a truly magical spot often referred to as “The Jewel in the Ring of Kerry.” It is a 6km long, sandy beach with an abundance of natural beauty - and a spectacular view over Dingle Bay. It is ideal for family days out, long walks, horse trekking and water sports.



The Irish beach is part of the Castlemaine Harbour Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and the Special Protection Area (SPA). Rossbeigh is a proposed Natural Heritage Area (pNHA) - an important site for diverse fauna and flora. It is a Blue Flag Awarded sandy beach.

Visitors to Rossbeigh can find toilets, a café and many restaurants in the nearby village of Glenbeigh. The popular beach is excellent for swimming and is one of the best places to do it in Ireland. There is plenty of constant swell, added to a steady SW prevailing wind, makes Rossbeigh a perfect spot to water sports.

It also offers a breathtaking view of the mountains on the Dingle Peninsula.
