A lovely countryside walk is something all of us in the concrete jungle of London can benefit from. Near London, there is a beautiful 3-mile walk that follows breathtaking Narnia statues and has a great Sunday Roast pub on the way. Narnia is the fantasy world created by C.

S. Lewis for his children's novels The Chronicles of Narnia. In the world of Narnia there is a litany of mystical beasts along with magic and talking animals and even Father Christmas turns up at one point.



On the walk in Reigate, you come face to face with the legendary lion Aslan, there's a lamp post with Lucy Pevensey waiting by it and you can even walk through the wardrobe which serves as the entrance to Narnia in the books, all carved from wood. The nature reserve is an ancient woodland with Banstead Woods thought to have once been owned by Anne Boleyn. It was a medieval deer park and stretches just over 390 acres. The Narnia trail takes about half an hour to complete and is mostly along paths.

The final stretch of the walk includes a 400m stretch that goes through a flower meadow with cattle that is used for conservation grazing.
