The latest season of Lee Mack ’s ITV gameshow came to an end on Saturday, with a Big Brother star making an appearance. But as well as noticing Yinrun in the crowd , viewers were quick to spot what they thought was one player cheating and trying to give away the answer to other contestants, one of whom included his wife.
During the 20% question, which read ‘To which body part can you add one letter at the start to make it the word for the job it does?’ Jason Duckett appeared to be touching his ears. However, he’s now insisted that although ‘ear’ was the right answer, the gesture was purely a coincidence. The DJ said: ‘I almost admire the creativity of someone to come up with that because I hadn’t thought of that.
‘There was nothing to gain for either of us. We were both out. Anything I was doing it was to just sort of calm myself.
’ He added to The Sun : ‘If you spin it, you could say my arms are folded. Was the answer harm and arm?’ Lee had earlier spoken to the 36-year-old and his wife Rowena who was also playing the game, and told him that he looked ‘smug’ over ‘beating her’. However it wasn’t meant to be, with both contestants knocked out of the game.
Viewers were convinced Jason had been cheating at the time, with Daryl writing on.
