For decades, Oman and Thailand have been enjoying a deep-rooted relationship in culture, business and knowledge. To further deepen these bilateral ties, the Thai Embassy in Muscat will facilitate the establishment of private rehabilitation and physiotherapy centres in the capital, in collaboration with the leading hospitals in Thailand. These centres will leverage Thailand’s expertise in healthcare, offering world-class medical services to Omani citizens.
“Thai hospitals are renowned for their high standards of practice, advanced technology, affordability and exceptional services,” said Ek-Att Thitaram, chargé d’affaires at the Thailand Embassy. “We are excited about the potential to provide top-notch health and wellness services, including specialised treatments such as brain surgeries, to the people of Oman,” he said. This collaboration is part of a broader effort by the Thai Embassy to promote their country’s services, products and culture in Oman.
The embassy is keen to boost trade figures and encourage more Omani tourists to visit Thailand. “Our focus is on increasing the trade volume between our countries and showcasing the best of Thai culture and products.” Tourism remains a cornerstone of the Thailand-Oman relationship.
