A teenage boy was left "overwhelmed" by an outpouring of love and support after the red dress he wore to prom went viral, racking up millions of views on social media . Korben received a rapturous response from both students and teachers at Archbishop Sancroft High School in Harleston, Norfolk, when he rocked up in his glamorous outfit, which saw him pair a sequin tuxedo jacket with a floor-length skirt, reports the Mirror . And it wasn't just his schoolmates who praised him for his bold look, millions of people online saw his stunning prom attire after his mum, Nina Green, shared it on X, formerly Twitter .

Nina revealed that Korben, who was 16 at the time of his prom in July 2022, had first told her his dream was to wear a dress to prom back when he was just 12. In her post, she told of her pride at her son being "true to himself". The mum wrote: "At age 12 my son announced he wanted to go to his school prom in a gown.



Four years later we made it happen. "I'm so incredibly proud of him for being true to himself and the reception he got from his whole school was incredible. What do you think @michellevisage @theebillyporter".

Nina and Korben attended Pride in London the following day, with the mum's phone going wild with notifications.
