Taves Family Farms in Abbotsford holds a butterfly release celebration on Saturday, June 15. Butterflies can be picked up from 10:30 a.m.
to 4 p.m. at the farm, located at 333 Gladwin Rd.
“The concept behind this release is to honour someone who is no longer with you, to celebrate a special occasion, or simply to renew your soul with hope and love,” states a press release about the event. The butterfly symbolizes transformation and can be released at home or at the farm. Those who place an order can pre-order charcuterie cups, Jamaican tacos, and specials like the Beautiful Butterfly Delight slushy.
