KUWAIT: Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda unveiled a project to export freshwater from Sarez Lake in Tajikistan to Gulf countries and other areas facing water scarcity. This announcement was made during a meeting in collaboration with the United Nations Office in Kuwait, briefing on the current state of affairs of the 3rd High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development,” 2018-2022.
