Sue Radford, the mother at the heart of Britain's largest family, has been left devastated by the death of her best friend's daughter. At just 17, Sophie Walker succumbed to a rare form of kidney cancer on 7 July, after battling the illness for seven years. Known for being the matriarch of a brood of 22, Sue formed an unshakable bond with Rebecca, Sophie's mother, ever since Rebecca introduced herself to Sue in 2013 following the birth of her twins.
