Dahab is composed of three distinct segments: Masbat where you'll find the Bedouin village of Asalah to the north, Mashraba which boasts several hotels to the south and caters to the tourists, and lastly Medina, encompassing the Laguna area to the southwest, famed for its shallow-water kite and windsurfing. In bygone days, backpackers seeking snorkelling and diving adventures in the Red Sea primarily visited Dahab.

But nowadays, with improved links to the airport town and the growth of hotel facilities in the Medina area, accessibility has greatly increased, reports the Express . In recent years, the beach has seen the opening of two kitesurfin.
