A unique music festival with over 40 local bands and 350 performers while taking a stroll through the beautiful community of Sugar House. Pamela Linda, a local musician who’s regularly performed at the Heart & Soul festival happening for the 30th time this weekend, stopped by to give us the details and show off her talents. This family-friendly music stroll brings over forty bands to neighborhood porches for the tenth year.
Pamela tells us what makes this experience unique, is the fact that the performers are bringing the healing power of music to isolated neighbors along the Wasatch Front. The performances happen on thirteen porches, driveways, lawns, and even a main stage, with food trucks among the crowds. There will be many styles such as country, big band, folk, blues, jazz, world music, and more.
Have fun grooving to many kinds of beats. Save the date, Saturday June 8th. 1530 E 2700 S along Atkin, Filmore, and Glenmare streets.
Feel free to walk, bike, wheel, and enjoy the tunes. We got to hear Pamela play her saxaphone, as well as sing while playing the guitar. Multi-talented, don’t miss her in action on the weekend.
