Amy Dowden has given her verdict on the Girls Aloud tour after attending their Birmingham show. The Strictly Come Dancing professional called the gig "brilliant and fabulous" although candidly admitted it "really hit home at times" in a sweet message to the band. Cheryl Tweedy, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh, and Nadine Coyle started their tour last month in celebration of their beloved bandmate Sarah Harding who died from breast cancer aged 39 in 2021.
The tour marks 21 years since Cheryl, Nicola, Sarah, Kimberley, and Nadine were voted the winners of ITV's Popstars: The Rivals and formed Girls Aloud. Girls Aloud last performed together a decade ago for their 10th anniversary with Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Nicola, and Sarah performing together as part of Ten: The Hits Tour. Amy, who was diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump days before her honeymoon last year, shared her thoughts about the "emotional" tour on Instagram.
