Melbourne Storm have recorded a landslide victory over the  Parramatta Eels despite the early loss of key playmaker Cameron Munster . The five-eighth will likely face another stint on the sidelines after suffering a groin injury in the first half of Melbourne's clash against the Parramatta Eels. The Maroons star was sidelined during the opening rounds of the season after he aggravated a groin injury during the Storms preseason training camp.

Assisted by trainers off the field, Munster was seen taking off some heavy-duty strapping tape as Melbourne played out the remaining minute of the half. Nine's Emma Lawrence reported that Munster's injury is "at the very least a groin strain", according to the Storm medics.



However, speaking to media post-game, head coach Craig Bellamy gave a glimmer of hope that Munster's setback might not be as bad as first thought. "I think when it first happened, the medical staff thought it was fairly serious ..
