Provided photo Stewart Friesen completed a short-track hat trick this weekend, with wins at Outlaw Speedway Thursday, Fonda on Saturday evening, and completed his three victories in four days by winning the Hall of Fame 100 at the Weedsport Speedway Sunday night.

The three wins give Friesen fifteen feature triumphs for the 2024 season. This versatile Sprakers driver also ran the NASCAR Truck Series event at Pocono Speedway Friday where he finished seventh. At Weedsport Sunday, track promoter/racer Jimmy Phelps led most of the early going, but Friesen took over on the 46th lap and never gave up the lead.



Phelps ended up second, with Anthony Perrego, Erick Rudolph, Tim Sears Jr., Peter Britten, Darren Smith, Jack Lehner, Matt Sheppard and Dave Marcuccilli completing the top ten finishers. The victor picked up a $10,000 check for his 46 Super DIRTcar Series triumph.

The win also guaranteed Friesen a starting spot in the Billy Whittaker Cars 200 during Super DIRT Week at Oswego Speedway this October. Hirschman wins Evans Mills: Matt Hirschman is considered one of the top pavement-modified drivers in the country. This Northampton, Pennsylvania racer set fast time for Saturday night’s 80-lap Summer Sizzler feature for Race of Champions modifieds at the beautiful Evans Mills Raceway Park.
