Cannon’s summer program for kids and teens is “Ricky Rocks Record Hour,” a new show written and directed by Cannon founder Shawn Cannon. It’s for those aged 8-18 and runs Aug. 12-15 and 19-22.
Performances are at 4 and 7 p.m. on Aug.

23. It’s set in the 1950s and rock and roll is at the height of its glory. The famous radio show Ricky Rock’s Record Hour, the hippest thing around, is hosting a competition to see who can perform.
Friends decide to give it a try and the townspeople are recruited to help, and it becomes a fun and crazy ride to the top. There’s lots of 1950s costumes, hairdos, music, and dancing, and everyone gets a character and speaking parts. Go to www.
