TRIBUTES have been pouring in for the mother and daughter who were tragically killed in a horror car crash in Mayo this week. Aisling Moore, 46, and eight-year-old Abbigael lost their lives in a collision between a car and a lorry in Foxford, Co Mayo . The horror tragedy happened on Tuesday at around 5.
45pm on the N26 in Lismoran . Driver Aisling and Abbigael were pronounced dead at the scene of the head-on crash between Foxford and Swinford. The driver of the lorry was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As tributes pour in for the two, funeral details have been announced. Their death notice reads: "The death has occurred of Aisling Moore and her beautiful daughter Abbigael Tournié Moore of Cois Coille, Swinford, Co. Mayo on the 2nd of July 2024.
"Aisling and Abbigael will be sadly missed by Abbigael’s father Arnaud, her half sister Aleksia, her French grandparents Jean Yves and Michéle Tournié. "They will also be missed by Aisling parents Eamon and Noreen, brothers Eddie, Stephen and sister Anita, sister in laws Louise and Charline and brother in law Declan, nieces, nephews and all their extended and much loved family, neighbours and friends." The mother and daughter will be reposing in Swinford Cultural Centre on Friday, July 5 from 5pm to 8pm.
The funeral mass is set to take place on Saturday, July 6 at 12pm in Our Lady Help of Christians before moving to Swinford cemetery for a burial. The family have asked for the house to remain private, with .
