Nana, who was just six when her father, the celebrated Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, was tragically shot and killed in 2014, is now growing up into a delightful young lady. Her mother, Mandisa Mkhize, couldn’t hold back her joy as she shared a heartwarming Instagram post to commemorate the special day. “Happy 16th birthday to my heart keeper. God, I can never thank you enough for this beautiful daughter of mine,” she wrote. The post featured a bubbly picture of Nana, capturing the essence of her youthful spirit.

Mandisa added, “Her laughter gives me so much joy; her happiness fills my heart with gratitude. Her voice when she says ‘kodwa ma’ and giggles.” It’s clear that Nana’s presence is a source of immense joy and pride for her mother.

Before Nana came into the picture, Senzo Meyiwa had already fathered his first daughter, Namhla, who currently lives with Senzo’s mother, Ntombifuthi, in Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal.
