Rianne Downey, a rising star in the country-folk scene, took to X to express her excitement after she performed a set alongside former Housemartins and Beautiful South frontman Paul Heaton on Friday night.

The up-and-coming singer, who hails from Bellshill, has been performing music for most of her adult life, from busking on the streets of Glasgow to livestreaming her impressive songs during lockdown. So it's no surprise she was blown away to be playing to crowds of over 130,000 fans at one of the most famous stages on the planet on Friday evening. The 24-year-old took to X to write: "I just played the Pyramid Stage with the incredible @PaulHeatonSolo, thank you @glastonbury.
