The mother of Toy Show star Saoírse Ruane has posted a heart-breaking throwback video of her late daughter, showing her as a toddler, laughing, smiling and playing with her parents. The 12 year old Galway girl sadly passed away in March. She captured the hearts of the nation when she appeared on The Late Late Toy Show with Ryan Tubridy back in 2020.

At the time, she bravely opened up about her cancer diagnosis. She inspired the Late Late Late Toy Show charity appeal, which has raised millions of euros for children's charities since its inception. In the video, the smiling Saoirse can be seen kissing her mother, as well as playing with and hugging her dad, Ollie. "Ten years ago today I took this footage..

" Saoírse's family recently attended a ball in Galway which paid tribute to their inspiring little girl. The Cathaoirlach Gala Ball was hosted at the Clayton Hotel in Galway with all of the proceeds raised going to support two worthy charities, ACT for Meningitis and i4Life.
