Ryan Hall became Super League's greatest try-scorer of all time after his double helped Hull KR to a comfortable victory over Huddersfield Giants. Hall, one of British rugby league's all-time greats, scored two late tries as Rovers kept hold of third spot with a 32-6 win over the Giants. It was a special moment for Hall, who looked genuinely touched by the reaction of Craven Park.

His tries produced some of the loudest cheers heard here for some time. He now goes above his former Leeds Rhinos teammate Danny McGuire, with the winger boasting 248 tries in the competition. The bigger picture? Craven Park remains a fortress.

On seven minutes, as Craven Park started a minute of applause for Rob Burrow, Tyrone May threw a long, misjudged pass that Esan Marsters anticipated and intercepted. He would run 70 metres to open the scoring, despite the best efforts of Hall, who chased from the other side of the field and forced him to the cor.
