FUMING locals have complained that the natural beauty of a popular Scots spot will be destroyed after major development plans were approved. Featuring a 19-bay driving range with a pro-shop and cafe open to the public, the facility will be built on farmland nearby the popular lochside heritage trail at Burleigh Sands, near Milnathort. Locals are not impressed with the plans, calling it an 'ignorant' move on behalf of the developers. But landowner and developer, Jamie Montgomery, told councillors that locals were in favour of the project.
