CLEVELAND, Ohio - The sky was clear and the Cuyahoga River was calm early Sunday morning for the Pan-American Master’s Games rowing competition. More than 4,000 athletes age 30 and over from about 75 countries will compete in more than two dozen sports and activities throughout Cleveland through July 21 as part of the Pan-American Master’s Games. This is the first time the international event has been held in the United States. Sue Tyler, president of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation, said it has been a lot of fun meeting the athletes.

“It’s amazing. A.
