RONAN Keating has paid an emotional tribute to his late mum on her "heavenly" birthday. The former Boyzone star's mum Marie Keating tragically passed away from breast cancer at the age of 51 in 1998. Following their mother's death in 1998, the Keating family set up the Marie Keating Foundation .
The family promised to provide the people of Ireland with vital information, advice and support on the signs and symptoms of cancer and help to prevent cancer or detect it at its earliest stages. The Marie Keating Foundation was established in her memory and with this central ambition in mind. Ronan took to Instagram today to share a black and white photo of his mum and said: "Happy 78th birthday heavenly rockstar.
