Birth: 1932 Death: 2024 Robert “Bob” Lee Koger passed peacefully away on June 30 surrounded by his loving family. Bob lived to be 92 years old. Born on March 20, 1932, to Joe Lee and Lytha May Koger, he spent most of his childhood in Monticello, Kentucky before moving to Illinois with his family as a young boy.

Bob eventually joined the Airforce, proudly serving our country; then made his career in masonry upon an honorable discharge. Bob’s family fondly remember his love of music and beautiful singing voice, he could often be found singing to his sisters. He was also a diligent member of The Order of the Masons.



Bob is survived by his son Thorton Thorpe, and his three sisters B.J. Heitz, Carolyn Ross, and Shirley Jennings.

He also leaves behind many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving partner in life of 17 years, Ruth Johnson. Services in Bob’s memory will be privately held.
