A 14-YEAR-OLD girl has been found dead inside her family home in a skeletal state after only going outside twice in four years, police say. Kyneddi Miller was found at her Boone County, West Virginia home after police were called about the cardiac arrest of a teenager. When police arrived at the scene on April 17, they described the teen’s appearance as "shocking.
" The criminal complaint stated that Kyneddi's body was found emaciated to a skeletal state, according to NBC affiliate WSAZ . Police found the teen on the bathroom floor lying on a foam pad, according to FOX affiliate WCHS . Julie Miller, 49, Kyneddi's mother, was arrested in April in relation to her daughter's cardiac arrest and has now been charged with child neglect, resulting in death, according to WSAZ.
She is being held at Southwestern Regional Jail in Logan County — about an hour southwest of Boone County — on a $250,000 bond, according to ABC affiliate WBOY . Kyneddi's grandparents, Jerry Stone, 75, and Donna Stone, 76, who also lived at the home, were arrested on Monday and have also been charged with child neglect, resulting in death. They were both brought to Southwestern Regional Jail on a $25,000 property or 10%-cash body, per WBOY.
The criminal complaint stated both "failed to exercise a minimum degree of care to assure the teenager’s physical safety and health," according to WSAZ. The teen had not been outside the house more than two times in the last four years, according to police, reported .
