Annie Kent, a soap actress best known for her role in Fair City, has died. The star, who relocated to Gorey from Ranelagh in recent years, died suddenly on June 4 in Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her family. Annie portrayed Angelea O’Connell in Fair City from 2005-2006.

She has also featured in The Commitments and played Rose Kennedy in P.S I Love You. ‘Beloved wife of Pierce H and mother of Pierce T and Jayne’, the RIP.
