The final moments of a much loved Exeter dad, partner and son, who sparked a massive search operation after vanishing following a night out, have been confirmed at an inquest. Jordan Wyatt was reported missing on May 29, 2023, after failing to return home and was finally located three days later in the river by Commercial Road at Exeter Quay. An inquest was held into the 31-year-old's death yesterday, June 6, at Exeter Coroner's Court.

It was heard that Jordan, who worked as a security officer at Taunton Crown Court and worked as a doorman in Exeter , including at The Cocktail Club in Gandy Street, had seen his two children during the day on May 28, 2023. He later went to The Imperial pub with his girlfriend who described their relationship as being 'happy and normal'. She told in a statement they left around 10.



30pm and that Jordan had been in a happy mood but after a verbal disagreement, she had called the police at around 11.50pm. Police confirmed no injuries were sustained and he was not arrested so they gave him a lift into the city centre to meet friends which he thanked them for and that he had seemed positive and not drunk. Jordan's girlfriend con.
