Police release CCTV footage in hunt for Bournemouth killer (Image: Hyde News & Pictures Ltd) Dorset Police’s hunt for a hooded suspect captured on CCTV in connection with the murder of Amie on Bournemouth beech on Friday night intensified as they revealed the 17-year-old boy arrested on Saturday was released without charge following a weekend of questioning. Dorset Police said the youth, who was on holiday in the town from Lancashire, had been “eliminated from inquiries” after two women from Poole were stabbed on Durley Chine Beach at around 11.45pm on Friday.

Amie, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 38-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she last night remained undergoing emergency treatment. Hours before the teenager’s release Dorset Police released CCTV images of a hooded suspect who they are now desperate to trace. But they warned any members of the public who spot him not to approach but instead dial 999.
