A police probe is under way after a man died at a North Wales beauty spot. Police have launched an investigation after the 63-year-old was discovered with chest injuries on Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island). The coroner has been informed.
North Wales Police issued a statement on the force's Gwynedd South Facebook page. It reads: "Shortly before 5pm on Wednesday, 19 June, we received reports of an incident in which a man had sustained chest injuries on Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli). Assisted by coastguard crews and paramedics, officers attended the location where, sadly, a 63-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

They added: "Officers are currently liaising with the Health and Safety Executive and the coroner as part of this investigation."
