Kate Garraway has shared a sweet series of snaps of her and her daughter Darcy as they enjoyed a day out in Wimbledon. The presenter, who lost her husband Derek Draper earlier this year after complications from COVID-19 — where he was diagnosed as the sickest man with COVID in Britain — has been updating her followers on her life following Derek’s passing. Taking to her Instagram, Kate shared a number of lovely photos with her daughter Darcy, 17, as the mum and daughter enjoyed the women’s final at the tennis tournament for what she said was her first mum and daughter day in years.

Mum & daughter days are so very precious. Take care xxx.’ Another realised that one of the photos saw Darcy wearing Derek’s fedora hat, with Kate confirming ‘yes it is Derek’s hat – good spot ! She wears it well doesn’t she.
