A woman says she "made sure" she would get pregnant with her prison lag husband – and doesn't care about judgement. Mum Monique McCall is expecting her fourth child with her incarcerated partner , Arthur. She has a one-year-old, Zion, with her current husband plus two children – Rodney, 17, and Malaysia, 10 – from a previous relationship.

Monique met Arthur through a mutual friend when he was 10 years into his prison sentence. They began writing letters to one another, which later turned into daily phone calls. They finally met in person after about six months.



A few months later, Arthur proposed and they wed the following year. Speaking to Truly TV , Monique revealed: "And we just found out we're pregnant again. So number four is on the way.

" She added: "I made sure I planned the visit around my ovulation and sure enough I was successful." California laws mean Arthur and Monique are allowed to enjoy overnight visits together. But the pair won't be able to live under one roof for quite some time – Arthur isn't expected to be released until 2053.

Looking to the future, Monique said: "His first parole date is 2033 so that is a huge possibility that he will be coming home." Her decision to be with Arthur has been met with criticism both online and from relatives. She continued: "They think that I'm going to get used when he comes home.
