Patricia L. Addington Kinsella, 93, of Fargo, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, peacefully at home. Patricia L.

Addington Kinsella was born on January 16, 1931, in Denver, Colorado. Her parents were Lloyd M. and Barbara M.



Addington. Pat graduated from Sisters of the Presentation High School in San Francisco, California. She married Arthur J.

Kinsella on April 22, 1966 in Denver. During the 1950s and 1960s, Pat worked with her father, Lloyd, in acquiring and leasing oil and gas mineral interests in Western North Dakota. During that time, her father founded Uxbridge Oils, Inc.

, which is a regionally-owned corporation. Pat managed Uxbridge after her father’s death and served as its Executive Secretary-Treasurer for over 50 years. Pat also owned and operated Catherine’s, a gift shop in downtown Fargo, from 1970 to 1988.

She was very involved in promoting downtown Fargo during that time. She was also an active supporter of many community organizations, including the F-M Symphony, NDSU Foundation, and the Homeward Animal Shelter. Pat enjoyed dancing, tending her yard and flowers, visiting with friends and neighbors, and doting on her lovable dog, Cassie.

She loved to dress up when she went out. She and Art both had beautiful smiles and made for an impressive couple. Pat is survived by her beloved dog, Cassie; nieces, Patricia (Terry) Addington Belford, Bloomington, MN and Marcela (Steven) Addington Reader, New Prague, MN; sister-in-law, Marlene Addington, Ham Lake, MN; stepdau.
