CENTRAL Provincial Member Rufina Peter has opened the Teshuvah Learning and Resource Centre with the graduation ceremony of Torah Bible School in Amazon Bay, Abau district. Both events marked a new era of educational and spiritual growth for the region, initiated by a family-funded project in partnership with Teshuvah International Ministries. Gideon Kavana, the ward member of Danava ward welcomed guests in the beautiful Mailu dialect, emphasising the significance of this new development for the community.
“Through this partnership, we can transform our communities. My invited guests are made up of Government officials, representatives from churches, businesses, and corporations. Together, we will build our communities,” he said.
Danava Ward, established in 2019, comprises Laruoro Island, Mogubo village, and Loupom Island. The event saw the participation of distinguished guests, including: Mr Kabana extended heartfelt thanks to these guests for attending and supporting this pivotal event, highlighting the collaboration between his family and Teshuvah International Ministries in funding the centre.
