MANCHESTER — Did you know Manchester, Dorset and East Dorset are home to some of Vermont’s most beautiful private gardens? Most are never open to the public. On July 20, from 10 a.m.

to 4 p.m., eight of these hidden gems will allow special access to participants of the Garden Club of Manchester’s (GCM) self-guided, biennial Garden Tour.



Proceeds from ticket sales support the club's scholarship program. Advance tickets (through July 19) are $25 per person. Children under 10 are free.

Tickets can be purchased online through July 20 or (with check or cash) through July 15 at H.N. Williams Store in Dorset and at Northshire Bookstore (credit cards accepted) in Manchester.

On the day of the tour, tickets will be available at each garden location for $30 per person (check or cash only). For more information about the gardens and to purchase tickets online, visit gardenclubofmanchester.com .
