The recruiting process can be daunting for a high school athlete. Luckily for the Iasiello twins, Raegan and Kendall, they had a partner when deciding their college destination. “We did everything together,” Raegan Iasiello said.
“We were like a package deal. We knew we wanted to go to college together since we were little.” The Iasiellos will join the field hockey program at Bloomsburg University.
They were two of the 25 college-bound athletes that Northampton Area High School honored with a signing ceremony last month. “We’re always together. We’re not really ever apart,” said Kendall Iasiello, who, like her sister, was an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference all-star.
“If one goes somewhere, then the other goes there. That’s just kind of how it’s always been.” The tandem will lean on one another as they adjust to university life and competition in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
