North Wales and the rest of the UK is finally enjoying a spell of warm summer weather . The mercury is set to rise to a high of 23C in Wrexham this afternoon, with Bala and Porthmadog also set to see 21C at times. Elsewhere in the UK, temperatures in London are poised to rise to 29C.
And tomorrow, it's forecast to be even hotter. During the afternoon, north east Wales will see temperatures of up to 26C, the same temperatures as those forecast in Ibiza, with the west of the region also enjoying temperatures in the low 20s. However it's not going to last, with the Met Office predicting Thursday will see a change ,and cooler temperatures.
That said, it's not going to be too chilly, with temperatures of around 16-19C still forecast in the afternoon, dipping to between 15-17C on Friday. Parts of the southeast could reach 31C.
"However, it will be a cloudier start for many parts of the north/northeast with some light rain or drizzle in places helping to subdue temperatures there. Through the afternoon, some extremely isolated heavy showers are also possible across some western areas such as northern Wales and northwestern England."
