Noel Gallagher has put his foot down, swearing off watching footie with his Liverpool-supporting bandmates from High Flying Birds. The outspoken former Oasis star and passionate Manchester City fan, aged 57, admitted tension was too much when sharing a room with the Reds-adoring members of his group during matches. Opening up to The Athletic magazine, he shared, "Oh, it's tense.

Recounting the declining camaraderie over football, Noel recalled, "When the rivalry first started, before the arrival of (Man City manager Pep) Guardiola, we watched the games together." He revealed an incident that escalated the situation: "And then one night I think it was the Champions League quarter-final it got a bit out of hand.

Offering an ultimatum, he didn't hold back: "And I was like, 'I will f****** fire someone here'." Taking measures into his own hands for future matches, he stated, "So now we watch the games separately and we're not allowed to mention it.

" In a candid tidbit, Noel also unveiled that his favourite club, Manchester City, had hopes of Oasis contributing financially in the past. He said recounting the investment pitch, "They wanted us to put money into the club. I remember my manager asking if we want.
