Twitter As usual, Nick Saban is at SEC Media Days this year, but he's in a much different role than he's accustomed to. Saban is in Dallas because of his new position as analyst for ESPN. For the last 17 years, he attended the annual conference gathering as Alabama's head coach.

The change in jobs has already led to an amusing security issue for the seven-time national champion. Asked by Mike Greenberg on Get Up what's different about media days on the other side of the aisle, Saban said he had a little misstep getting into the event. "It's a little different.



I've never worn a credential in my life and was always for 17 years able to get into SEC Media Day without a credential. I had to go back to the room today and get my credential to get in," Saban said with a laugh. "So that's one of the biggest changes I see.
